• Maybach Coupe

As I mention often. I am not into these super expensive cars. I am more interested into what people actually drive. But this does look much more interesting than the bland Maybach sedan. I actually saw a couple of them around Hollywood. And it is completelly invisible. Unlike the new Rolls Royce. For over $300 000,… Continue reading Maybach Coupe

  • 2006 Renault Twingo?

  • Seat in the US!!!

That’s what Andreas Schleef (the big guy at Seat ) is saying! We should be getting the Spanish cars over here, but not before 2008.Which means none of the current line up might actually make it.But that’s OK. The next designs should look even better! And they are supposed to include a larger Crossover/Wagon type car for… Continue reading Seat in the US!!!

Don’t panic! This version is for Europe only! They use a compressor with the regular 1.8 Liter engine. So it could be offered here if they really wanted to. But, like the hatchback design, we’ll never get this.

  • 2006 Ford Explorer

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, here it comes:The revised (not all new) 2006 Explorer. That new grille just makes things even worse.Inside, it’s a bit better. Same thing as the “revised” Mercury version, but with ugly, cheap looking fake wood instead of aluminum finish…Just when people start getting into car based SUV… Continue reading 2006 Ford Explorer

  • 2006 Mercedes S class

If you really don’t like the new BMW 7 series (like me) and have about $80 000 to spend on a car (unlike me), there should be something a bit more interesting, and not as clumbsy, coming up in a few months. You can really see some pretty interesting character lines around the fenders of… Continue reading 2006 Mercedes S class

  • 2006 Opel Frontera

You can see on these pictures, that the next Frontera looks really close to that Chevy S3X concept from last year. Actually a new Daewoo. I guess they decided it would make a better Opel than a Chevy in Europe.I just wonder who is going to sell it in the US. Usually, the new Dawoos… Continue reading 2006 Opel Frontera

  • the Galue 2

Everyone pretty much agrees that the previous generation Infiniti M was a pretty boring design. It kind of looked like these generic cars in architectural renderings…Well… Mitsuoka, again, comes to the rescue!!! They transform the old M into this horrific looking thing. I am not sure how much that is.They, again, try to match a… Continue reading the Galue 2

  • Opel Vectra

Above is a pic of the slightly revised Opel Vectra for Europe.Right under it, is the 2006 Saturn Aura. Finally, GM wised up and is using Opel designs for the US.And I’m not talking about the weird Opel designed but Isuzu built Kadett from the 70’s.The front ends are almost the same, but some changes in… Continue reading Opel Vectra

  • Nissan Micra CC

Thsi is the hard top convertible version of the Nissan Micra. Not for the US, of course. The CC will come with a 1.6 Liter engine with 110 hp. • The Royga!

Yes.. Another monster from Mitsuoka. This one seems to want to transform a Japanese version of the Nissan Sentra into a Jaguar! Or some kind of generic British looking car from the late 50’s.In a (sick) way, it’s pretty amazing… I wonder what it’s like to drive this small car (with its 1.5 Liter engine) with… Continue reading The Royga!

  • Mtsubishi. Cool ???

Mitsubishi is just now the japanese alternative to the cheaper Korean cars in the US.They only sell thanks to massive incentives and extra long waranties. But they do have a couple of “cool” products. So why don’t they bring that stuff over here??? This Mistsubishi Colt convertible doesn’t look to me like it needs a $2000… Continue reading Mtsubishi. Cool ???
