Bentley Continental GTC (not for us mortals)
Here it is: the convertible version of the Continental GT.No big surprises here, they’ve been working on it for a while. After the sedan, this one completes the family. It is a regular soft top convertible. And I’m sure the V12 engine is pretty much the same as the rest of the line. Of course it’s good… Continue reading Bentley Continental GTC (not for us mortals)

Nissan Maxima SE Test Drive.
The new Maxima is one of my favorite sedan. I think it is one of the best looking and modern car out there, with an interior that makes almost anything else look old fashioned. But how does it drive??? The very first impression I had in the car was about the seat. I guess, that’s… Continue reading Nissan Maxima SE Test Drive.

Fiat 500
From Italy we get this illustration of what the production version of the Trepiuno concept (in white) could look like. It will be called teh 500, to cash in on the popularity of the old Fiat model. That looks pretty close to me. I really think the production model will look really close to this.Seems like… Continue reading Fiat 500

2007 Land Rover Freelander
From England we cat this illustration revealing what the next, all new, Freelander might look like. I think this might pretty close to the real thing. Land Rover people say the Freelander won’t be as stylish as the new LR3.Whatever that means. It is based on the new European Focus platform which is also used by… Continue reading 2007 Land Rover Freelander

2007 Tahoe. More…

Lancia SUV
Fiat is developing an all new compact SUV with Suzuki. I have posted illustrations of the Fiat version before. This is what the Lancia version could look like. The body is pretty much the same, except, of course, for the Lancia front end crafted into it. And the result is pretty nice. It seems to actually… Continue reading Lancia SUV

2007 Chevrolet Tahoe
I am not a fan (understatement) of full size truck based SUVs.So the all new Tahoe isn’t very good news to me. I just wish they’d disappear all together…But as long as some people use them as family cars, GM will keep redesigning them every few years. It is better looking and not as clunky… Continue reading 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe

2006 Honda European Civic
A truely futuristic design for the European Civic.Notice how the navigation system is integrated into the top of the dashboard. A much nicer solution that what we have in the US Civic. And I do wonder if they use better materials. It is, after all, much more expensive in Europe…

New Civic 1st impressions
I just went to see the new Civic. The last time I saw it was at one of these “events” organized by Honda, a few weeks ago. And I really loved what I saw there. This time the dealer only had an LX sedan. The most popular model. The 1st thing I noticed, was how cheap… Continue reading New Civic 1st impressions

2007 Ford Edge
I beleive this to be the real thing. It matches exactly the various spy shots that have been around for a few weeks. Based on the same platform as the Fusion/Zephyr, it also shares the engines. The base with have the 2.3 Liter. Then the 3.0 V6. And the top of the line will have… Continue reading 2007 Ford Edge

2006 Kia Optima
Here are some more pictures of the new Optima. It seems like a lot of people here have something to say about it. There is still a huge market for a decent, affordable family car. A good thing in my opinion.I just think, in the same class and around the same price, the Sonata seems alot… Continue reading 2006 Kia Optima

Chinese cars in Europe
I’ve talked about this one before. The Brilliance from Zhonghua. A mid size car that they claim, “competes with a mercedes E class”. Right…At least not with a 2.4 Liter engine. But it was designed in Italy, and does look nice. And for 20 000 Euros, what do you want… This one is the “landwind”.… Continue reading Chinese cars in Europe

2006 Kia Optima
When people describe the Camry or the Accord as boring. They should take a look at this one.The redesigned mid sized sedan from Kia. It is , to me, the most generic design I have seen in many years. It has a bit of everything else. And the front end is a shameless copy of… Continue reading 2006 Kia Optima

Happy Suits!
Look at these guys. Don’t they all look like they were selling used cars last week? They are trying to convice the audience that: 1 A convertible based on the $24000 S40 is worth $35000.2 This is a real “new” car, (so just look at the front).3 This is a real Cadillac.4 Well.. This guy… Continue reading Happy Suits!

Kia Multi S
Besides the stupid name, the 19 inch wheels and the funky inside colors, this looks like production ready to me. A modern wagon/SUV type family car, powered by the Hyundai 2.7 Liter V6.It looks pretty nice and should work in the US if they decide to bring it over here. Seats seven too! For those… Continue reading Kia Multi S
