• 2007 Santa Fe

No official pricing yet but they are talking of “around $24 000”.I guess that would be the base model with a 2.7 Liter V6. It goes officially on sale June 1st. Although some dealers might actually get them before… I am surprised they haven’t announced an official price yet.

  • Revised Legacy/Outback

This is a 2007 model for japan. But not sure yet if it will come her as a 2007 or 2008. (I don’t see why this would be a 2008…) They didn’t really need to change anything, but it does make it a bit more aggressive.I hope the Outback interior keeps the wood & metal finish… Continue reading Revised Legacy/Outback

  • 2007 Honda CRV

New illustration from Japan. And it does match the other ones I published before. But let’s hope that front end gets simplified a bit…

  • Land Rover LR2

Sorry folks, I was asked to remove these pictures by “the Man” himself…These photos are all over the net so I guess the Ford lawyers will be buzy for a while…Here is how they did it: ” Land Rover takes policingand enforcement of its intellectual property rights very seriously. Land Rover has recently discovered that… Continue reading Land Rover LR2

  • 2007 Kia Amanti

Just a few more shots of the revised large Kia.Just remember that Kia is supposed to be the Sporty side of Hyundai when you look at these. At least, the black interior replaces the acres of fake wood with a classy looking piano black finish.

  • Jiangling Fenshan

At least the dsign was done in Italy. So this won’t be as bad as many Chinese cars. I guess it might work as a (much) cheaper alternative to the Metrix. We’ll never know…

  • Opel Olympia

Opel will have a “smaller than Antara” Cross over by 2010 called the Olympia. And they want to sell 200 oooo a year. The Olympia will be built in Europe, as well as Thailand, India and Mexico. The Mexican one would be a convenient fit into the Saturn line up…

  • 2007 Kia Amanti

It might still be the most conservative looking car you can buy.Even with a new front, rear, interior and a 3.8 Liter engine. At least now the front end isn’t as offensive as before. And after driving one a couple of years ago, I can tell you it is a pretty good car that doesn’t pretend… Continue reading 2007 Kia Amanti

  • VW Rabbit

It’s back. But only in the US and Canada. Just thought I’d post some official pictures of the “North American Golf”.The 2 door starts at $14 990 and I think the 4 door is around $2000 more. The car pictured here has some options and might go for at least $19 000. Not that cheap anymore. And without… Continue reading VW Rabbit

  • New Holden Commodore

We’ll never see this Australian car over here.. But… GM is talking about using a modified structure of this car for the new Camaro. And the next RWD Impala. For a while, Buick was supposed to have a version of this car as their flagship model. So we might see some of it after all….

  • 2007 Euro Corolla

Another picture of what’s in store for Europe. The character lines are still well hidden. But the shape doesn’t seem very original. And the US version will be even more conservative, with a trunk.

  • 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer/Evo X

This looks like it might just be a production version of last year’s prptotype. The headlights seem a bit different, less show car. We’ll see. What do you think?

  • Subaru Outback & Legacy

The Outback is the top one. Subaru is getting a new front end ready for 2007. And it does look pretty nice and doesn’t ruin the look of the car. Some are already saying that we won’t see this “2007” model before 2008 in the State. That doesn’t make much sense to me… The Outback and Legacy… Continue reading Subaru Outback & Legacy

  • 2007 Euro Corolla

Here are a couple more pictures of the next Corola for Europe testing. It is pretty much similar to pictures I have been posting in the past few months. We can’t really see anything more than in the previous photos. It doesn’t seem to look as modern as the new Civic or other European cars. We’ll… Continue reading 2007 Euro Corolla

  • Saab designs

Here is a picture taken inside a Saab design center. That illustration in the back looks great. And Saab already announced their intentions to compete with the new TT. But what I notice the most is that glass of wine in the foreground.Whatever it takes, GM seems to be giving designers everything they need to… Continue reading Saab designs
