• R.I.P Saturn

The Saturn brand should be gone in 2011.No new product will come out after the current one run out. This is just too bad. I have been driving a few Saturns lately and I can tell you they are as good or better than most cars out there.Like most people, I was underwhelmed by the… Continue reading R.I.P Saturn

  • 2010 Hyundai Equus

Just another picture.Where it now appears very overdone to me.Almost vulgar…. Thanks to a reader for this one.

  • Hyundai Equus interior

This time its the real thing. It looks pretty much like anything else in this class. With plenty of wood, in the old 1990’s Korean car tradition… But it doesn’t look much worse . Conservative, all fashion. Just like a big Lexus.

  • 2010/11 Dodge Charger

I’ve always thought the current Charger is one of the ugliest sedans on the market today. The next one doesn’t look like such an improvement. This will compete with the all new Taurus. And a new Impala is on its way. This Charger already looks old. Good luck….

  • Hyunday HED-6 Concept

Seems like a cross between a Ford Kuga and a Nissan Murano. Let’s hope they keep most of it when this becomes the next Tucson. Hyundai has a pretty bad track record about that. Showing off really good concept and watering them down for production…

  • 2010 Kia Sorento

Another invisible car. This time the Sorento is car based, and get the option of the 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder engine.A V6 will still be available.

  • Cadillac CTS Coupe

This is the 1st official picture of the production version. And it is really close to last year’s concept. The only engine available at launch seems to be the 3.6 Liter V6. Listed on GM’s “2009-2014 Restructuring Plan” as The “powertrain with the best economy”. Meaning there won’t be anything smaller available, at least for a while.

  • 2010 Chrysler 300

That one looks nice to me. For some reason.Sure, it does copy the current model. And it doesn’t seem to push anything. But it does feel a bit more upscale. While retaining an aggressive personality. I wonder if GM will uncover that much tomorrow or later today, as part of their presentation….

  • 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is taken from Chrysler’s “Restructuring Plan for Long Term Viability” brochure they are showing to Congress in order to get more money. The good news is that we get to see what the new car based Grand Cherokee will look like. The bad news is, it doesn’t seem to look that great. After all these Jeep… Continue reading 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • All new Hyundai Equus

The 1st official picture of the “super big” Genesis based Hyundai sedan. It doesn’t look much worse than a Lexus LS, really. Most of these big sedans are not interesting to look at anyway. So this fits the bill.

  • All new Mercedes E Class Coupe

Finally the real thing. After years of spy shots… I think it looks much better and classier than the sedan. Even though most of the lines are similar. It’s just too bad about that blocky interior. It just doesn’t fit the rest of the car.

  • Fiat 500 Convertible

Sure it’s cute. But is it really a convertible?More like a “super extended sunroof” to me. But I guess it does give it the ultimate retro look. On related news, it seems that if the deal between Chrysler and Fiat goes through,we might see the small 500 in the US as soon as next year.I’ve heard… Continue reading Fiat 500 Convertible

  • 2010 Acura RDX?

It looks like it.No big news there. Mostly the new corporate face. Not sure if the V6 will also be offered as an option. The 2.3 Turbo already has 240hp, so I really don’t think so.

  • 2010 Ford SHO Video

Looking very nice. But not much nicer than the “regular” 2010 Taurus. I wonder how many people will want the extra HP for so much more money. And how many will want to pay Infiniti prices for a Ford…

  • WVW’s new Mid-sized sedan

The one that is supposed to better compete with the Camry/Accord crowd in the US by also being built localy. It looks nice, but nothing special, really. And that’s a rendering, the actual car will be even more conservative. There are already more modern looking sedans out there. Now.This won’t be available for at least… Continue reading WVW’s new Mid-sized sedan

  • Tesla Model S

The new sub $60 000 all electric sedan is coming.we’ll see the whole thing next month. It already looks great.
