• 2011 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI

There is a new engine available in the A1 for 2011.A small 1.4 Liter with both A Supercharger and a Turbo. The whole thing puts out 185 hp. through a 7 speed auto. It is said to average 40MPG (US). Quite amazing. And what a formidable competition to the Mini Cooper S.But not here. We are… Continue reading 2011 Audi A1 1.4 TFSI

  • 2012 VW Passat CC

Looks like what VW has been doing for the past 2 years: crafting the new front end design to all their current cars. But it still work on the CC, at lest for me. I also hope the CC stays in the US line up once the regular Passat disappears …

  • BMW 6 series Coupe concept

“Concept”… Sure. What you see here is pretty much the next 6 series that is coming out next year.I don’t know why they even call this a concept. BMW has said the Grand Coupe concept from a while ago is going into production. This new 6 series coupe looks like a 2 door version of… Continue reading BMW 6 series Coupe concept

  • 2012 Ford Focus ST

The Focus family picture wasn’t really complete without the new ST model. It also mean there will be no 2 door Focus around with the new generation. Like the current Euro ST. Offering 250hp from the new Ecoboost 2.0 Liter. In line with the Mazdaspeed3. But the 2.0 Liter Turbo in the Solstice offered over 260hp…

  • Chevrolet Orlando Videos

The one we won’t be getting over here after all.I think it does look ok. If they don’t offer this in the US, they’d better put a new interior in the HHR, pronto…

  • Mystery small Toyota!

not sure what this is.It looks different than the pictures of the all new Yaris I posted a few days ago. So that’s not it. Next Scion Xd? I think it’s too early for that… Any idea?

  • More pictures of the new 2011 Mercedes CLS

In red… It does look very nice. But I am still not sure it looks better than the original, which I always liked a lot. And where is the panoramic sunroof? It would be the perfect car for it…

  • 2011 Chrysler 200

Chrysler decided to get rid of the Sebring name after all.No big loss, after what they did to it. The 200 is still not a new car. It is the revised Sebring were were expecting for 2011. • All new (?) Hyundai ix20

Hynudai will be showing an all new model at the Paris auto show. But it is basically their version of the good looking Kia Venga they’ve been selling in Europe since last year… Here is the Kia version, which, in my opinion, looks actually much better. The interior reminds me of the Forte, which is good. I… Continue reading All new (?) Hyundai ix20

  • What could have been: 1982 Buick Skyhawk coupe

The top picture is a clay model from the late 70’s.The actual car, the J-Body Skyhawk, came out in late 1981 for the 1982 model year. For once, it looks like they didn’t water it down too much from their early designs.I think the production model still looks pretty decent to this day.

  • Small Micra based Nissan Sedan

This will be a really small sedan, smaller than the Versa. The Micra is already out in many markets, and is headed for the US soon.So it would actually make sense to sell the sedan version over here too.

  • 2012 Toyota Yaris

The Yaris will be all new for 2012. These are pictures of the hatchback version we’ll also get in the US. Competition is getting tough these days, even here. From what we can see, it looks like it could be a pretty modern design. We’ll see….

  • New Chevrolet Aveo interior

What a giant leap forward from the current car.And truly, a smaller Cruze interior. At least on this picture, it looks great, for a car of that size and class. Better than the rather boring Mazda2 interior.

Chinese brand Beijing was, until recently, producing the Sebring and 300 for Chrysler in Chine.Soon they will come out with this new sedan, the T8, “based” on the Sebring.
