• 2011 Dodge Journey

I must say, Chrysler wasn’t lying when they promised us better interiors. The revised Journey only seems to be getting a new grille outside. But the interior seems to be a giant improvement on what they have now.And of course, the new 3.6 V6 is offered. Here is the current model. You can see how bad the interior looks… Continue reading 2011 Dodge Journey

  • New MG6 sedan pictures

It is now official, the good looking 5 door hatchback is now joined by this good looking sedan version. But not for the US….

  • New Toyota Yaris/Vitz

These are pictures of the different versions of the japanese market Vitz. Which one of these would you pick to be what we’ll see here as the 2012 Toyota Yaris?

  • Saab 9-4X

Finally. It’s good to see an all new Saab after what almost happened a few months ago. And the production model looks almost exactly like the concept I saw at the Detroit auto show a few years ago. A good thing. It will be available with the same engines as its cousin, the Cadillac SRX. A… Continue reading Saab 9-4X

  • 2012 Euro Civic

This illustration doesn’t really seem to match the spy photos exactly, but it is close. And again, it looks like the Euro version of the Civic will be about a million times better looking than the ultra conservative sedan we’ll be getting over here next year. Maybe Honda will realize, like Ford, that hatchbacks are getting… Continue reading 2012 Euro Civic

  • Lexus RX 270?

Seems like Lexus will be offering a 4 cylinder version of the RX as a new base model. But not in the US. Unless gas suddenly shoots up past $5 a gallon. On another note, I just wonder what happened to the rumors of a small Lexus compact SUV .That rumor was pretty popular 2 or… Continue reading Lexus RX 270?

  • 2012 Lexus GS

Sorry, just a very blurry image/illustration so far. The new GS might be the first of the current Lexus models to be redesigned as a pure Hybrid lineup.A shorter version of the new platform will be used for the next IS.

  • 2012 BMW 3 series

Obviously just an illustration, by some talented BMW fan.But it does look really good. A nice update on the current car. We’ll see very soon what the real thing looks like…

  • 2012 Kia Rio

At least from these pictures, it looks quite conservative. But I guess most small, cheap sedans do. The hatch version could be more interesting. And the interior does look rather cheap, but remember, we are talking about a car that currently starts at under $12 000. But there is still quite a bit of camouflage, so… Continue reading 2012 Kia Rio

  • MG6 Sedan

The MG 6 has been a hatchback only model. And it does look great. But a sedan version os coming out soon, and it also looks pretty good. We’ll probably never see it, or the hatchback, in the US.But MGs have been getting decent reviews in Europe already.Just a picture of the current hatchback model.

  • Chevrolet Cruze Turbo

There is already a turbo engine available on the Cruze, the small 1.4 Liter. But this sportier “Turbo” model uses a larger 1.6 Liter with 170 hp instead of 140. And so far, it is for China only. Where the 1.6 Liter Turbo is already used in the Buick Excelle. I say bring over the good… Continue reading Chevrolet Cruze Turbo

  • 2011 Mazda BT50

And now for the new Ranger’s cousin, the Mazda version. The front end looks weird compared to the rather conservative looking body from the Ranger. It just doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the car. Like if they were trying too hard to look modern. Like an old design with a new front end redesigned… Continue reading 2011 Mazda BT50

  • 2011 Ford Ranger

Finally, after what seems to be about 65 years, there is an all new and modern Ford Ranger.But.. It’s not for the US… I guess Ford, and others, think the compact pick up truck market is pretty much dead in the water. No idea why. You would think with higher gas prices people would go… Continue reading 2011 Ford Ranger

  • 2012 BMW 6 series convertible

This is the real thing.Looking exactly (surprise!) like the rather conservative 6 series coupe concept we saw just a few weeks ago. It actually looks a bit more boring than the current car. Which is not a good thing.

  • New Mercedes SLK

Looks like it’s coming out soon.Prototypes have less and less camouflage. It also looks pretty good, especially considering the horrible stuff we’ve seen from Mercedes lately. More if you click on the title.

  • 2012 Toyota Prius Alpha

Just an illustration, but it looks pretty good.Really close to the official teaser from a few days ago. I still think the powertrain would really struggle with 7 people on board. Even if you just don’t expect it to be fast “because it’s a hybrid”.It still needs to get on freeway onramps at a decent… Continue reading 2012 Toyota Prius Alpha
