More pictures of the “new” Saab 9-3

Nothing really new of course.
But it might be enough for the new company to generate some cash.

An electric version is coming next year.

I think it is really good to see a brand like Saab back. I don’t really care who brings it back.

Seems that a lot of people are pissed, or even angry about Saab rising from the dead. (At least idiots on the web).
Nobody has to buy one if they don’t want to. As far as I am concerned, I just like cars, the more car brands the better.

  1. Have they announced who is supplying the engine yet? It is all well and good to bring the car back, but potential buyers might like to know where the engine is from and what kind of reliability it might have before taking what is certainly a gamble on this.

  2. Glad to see that Saab is back, but the 9-3 looks sorely dated and in dire need of a complete overhaul.

  3. Wow, I have never seen such an original design inside and out. Success is guaranteed! Stunning! Ear your heart out Audi….

  4. Here I mostly hope they didn't lose their US dealer network. That center stack is a bit dated for comfort however.

  5. Vince I disagree. It would make sense to bring back a brand like Saab if it was offering cutting edge tech and design.

So, what do we have here with the not so new 9-3? Nothing cutting edge as far as the details revealed while the industry has moved forward since Saab's demise and now apparent resurrection.

It's one thing to cheerlead but it's another to blindly do so when there is no merit.
