• Geely GC9

This looks pretty nice. And I am not adding “for a Chinese car”. It just looks pretty good. This is an all new large sedan from Chinese car maker Geely. They has been a new rumor about Geely selling cars in the US as soon as 2016. But they have claimed the same thing since… Continue reading Geely GC9

  • 2016 Mazda CX-5

Still no interior shot, but a better picture of the new front end. Which actually, when you compare it to the current one, isn’t that new. It seems only the stuff within the grille has been revised. Headlights and the area where the fog lights are. Looks like the actual bumper part is the same.… Continue reading 2016 Mazda CX-5

  • 2016 Mazda CX-5

No big changes outside. But I don’t think they should have done anything. There was nothing wrong with the front end. It seems that, across the line, they are toning down that cool chrome line that was running from one headlight to the other. Now the new grille looks like anything else on the road.… Continue reading 2016 Mazda CX-5

  • New Audi Concept teaser.

This looks interesting. It is claimed to be a flagship for the brand. Which means above the A8. Yet it does look like  hatchback. (even better). It also reminds me of a Tesla. At least from what we see here. Like a squared off Audi version of a Tesla. I remember, a couple of years… Continue reading New Audi Concept teaser.

  • 2016 Acura ILX

The picture on top is the revised ILX for 2016. It does look more aggressive. With the mandatory LED headlights. We also know that it will get a new engine with more power. I guess Acura is making an effort to better compete with cars like the Audi A3. Which is good.

  • 2016/17 Ford Taurus

I got a message from one of these “anonymous” people, directing me to a site called “2016 Fordcars”. Telling me this is a tip. So here are the pictures from that site. (Not sure where they are from, and it this is just a way to promote some new site.) But here it is: the… Continue reading 2016/17 Ford Taurus

  • 2016 Mazda6

Looks like the Mazda6 will be getting a few changes for next year. The front end is all new, and looks a bit softer. Not sure why they did this, since it looked great before. And least it doesn’t seem ruined. Inside, the dash and console seem all new. Which isn’t bad. I always thought… Continue reading 2016 Mazda6

  • All new Honda Grace

The new Grace is a hybrid version of the City sedan. Which is basically a sedan version of the new Fit we have now here. Not sure why the Hybrid version has its own name (Probably because some suit thought the name “Grace” was so great) I’ve heard before about the City coming to the… Continue reading All new Honda Grace

  • 2016 Mazda CX-3

Mazda will show its all new CX-3 compact crossover at the Los Angeles auto show next month. And, at least from this sketch, it looks really good. It is based on the new Mazda2 and will use the same 1.5 Liter engine. It will compete in this expending segment with the new (and delayed due… Continue reading 2016 Mazda CX-3

  • What could have been…

This is a prototype from 1988. Porsche had then decided that a “4 door 911” called 989, was a good idea. Mostly for the US market. And it didn’t look too bad. Just like the Panamera, over 20 years later, this was a front engine, RWD car. So not really a 4 door 911. Interesting…

  • More teasing: Nissan Concept

Another teaser of that new Nissan SUV/Crossover concept. Not sure why they would have another compact SUV since they already have the Juke, which is quite popular in many countries. The Juke also just got updated for 2015. So an all new one is not around the corner.

  • Scion iM Concept

Scion will show this new model at the Los Angeles auto show next month. This is not really a concept. More like a preview of their new model. Which is basically, as they mentioned before, an updated version of the European Auris hatchback. So basically, a Corolla Hatch. Just what the Elantra GT is to… Continue reading Scion iM Concept

  • 2016 Acura ILX

Acura will revise the ILX for the new year. Here is what the official PR BS says: ” Potent new power train, more aggressive exterior styling, significantly upgraded interior elements”. Which probably means: ” Now available with the same 2.4 Liter engine used in the TLX, new wheels and lights, (With 5 more hp), more… Continue reading 2016 Acura ILX

  • New Nissan Concept coming up.

So far the only thing we know is that it will be introduced on October 28th at the Sao Paulo autoshow. SUV? Crossover? What do you think?
