Honda Accord Hybrid test drive video.

Last Updated:

Please join me and watch this short video showing a bit of my experience driving a Honda Accord Hybrid for a week. I had test-driven the Accord Hybrid a couple of years ago, and somehow, liked it much more this time around. I guess my expectations were different this time around. And I wasn’t comparing it to the previous generation I liked so much.

The Honda Accord one general is a very roomy and comfortable car. While I wasn’t really able to match the official MPG numbers, my average was a still very decent 46/47MPG. Which is still much better than any compact Hybrid SUV out there.

The interior is also much nicer than the cheaper and smaller Honda Civic. Everything is more upscale and more solid. However, that all comes with a $7000 premium over the top-of-the-line Civic.

The video also shows my “dashboard pimple” nemesis. And explains that despite some well-intended efforts, the Honda Accord might not be able to completely avoid “back seat brawls”. These violent events that are currently often mentioned in the news.

Otherwise, I think the Honda Accord Hybrid is really a top choice for anyone looking for a roomy sedan.
