Acura RDX video.

This is just a short video about the few days I spent with the Acura RDX.

The trim I had was the A-Spec model, which was loaded. While it is pretty quick, I wouldn’t call the RDX sporty. It handles very nicely and feels upscale. But its steering feel is always a bit too light. The sporty-looking bits, like the red interior of the metal trim inside, feel out of place in something like this.

The other trims I drove over the past few years had a great matte finish wood trim that looked fantastic. And of course, either light grey or tan seats. And I think that actually fits the RDX personality much better.

The Acura SUV is always quiet and smooth. The sound system is always excellent. And it’s a pleasure to rediscover these good old Barry White tunes.

I think one of the RDX’s main problems is the vast amount of slightly used ones on the market today. For a lot less money than a new one. I guess that’s the curse of a very reliable, good car. (Why get a new one?)

New or used, you just can’t really go wrong with an Acura RDX. If you can live with its dreadful infotainment trackpad, that is…
