Since it’s the weekend, why don’t you sit back, relax, and watch a bunch of YouTube videos?

Even if that’s what you do every day anyway. These short video masterpieces will give you a glimpse of a world where SUVs aren’t running the show. An alternate universe where American car makers are still selling big sedans and even 2-door coupes and convertibles.

Future cars with old names almost no one remembers. Like Cordoba, Continental, or Eldorado.

If actually built today, these would probably not sell very well at all. And yet, they seem to be quite popular with many. Even if most car buyers wouldn’t get one, it would still be fun to see these driving around. A throwback to a time when American cars were special and unique. And not really trying to compete against imports.

Maybe that’s the secret sauce. Not really caring about the foreign competition. Just make something different that reminds people of your glory days…
