Under all that camouflage, Genesis is hiding their all-new GV90 luxury EV SUV. Which will be the production version of the 2024 Neolun concept car.
The new Genesis luxury model will feature a new take on the good old “suicide doors”. All with an innovative new door design where the second door connected to the front door, and the hinge was mounted to the rear of the car. Which actually sounds a lot like what Mini offered a few years ago on the Clubman. Before it had 4 real doors.
I guess this will make it a bit different from its competition from Cadillac and Lincoln in the US. Speaking of Lincoln, why don’t they offer something like this on the Navigator?
The new Genesis GV90 is expected to launch in mid-2026, and its design is obviously based on last year’s Neolun concept. The concept was pretty impressive with its extra clean and simple design. Something we all hope Genesis will keep for the production version.
While the GV90 comes out officially in 2026, we will see more of the GV90 at the end of this year. Genesis wants to make sure potential Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Genesis GV80 buyers know that a new option will be available soon.
