All-new 2027 Nissan Rogue.

Nissan just released the first official photos of the all-new 2027 Nissan Rogue. And here it is!

First impressions are not always the best, but I do like it so far. I think the current Rogue is still a pretty good looking SUV. And still much nicer than the new Toyota RAV4. But this new design adds a more dynamic feel to the new car.

Here is some of the official word on the new Rogue: “Rogue has long been at the heart of Nissan’s success in the U.S. and Canada, and the next generation represents a major step forward for this incredibly important model,” said Ponz Pandikuthira, senior vice president, Chief Product & Planning Officer, Nissan Americas. “With hybrid e‑POWER, the all-new Rogue will bring the smooth, responsive feel of electric motor driving to one of the most popular compact SUVs in North America, while staying true to what customers value most – efficiency, confidence and everyday usability.”

Yes, the new e-Power powertrain will bestandard in the US for 2027.

Of course, no other news yet.

The new Rogue is a huge deal for Nissan.

The company sold nearly 250,000 units in the U.S. last year alone, making it one of its most important and reliable sellers. With numbers like that, there’s no need to completelly reinvent the visual formula. A cleaner exterior design, a more refined interior with updated tech, and some meaningful improvements under the hood could be more than enough to keep it competitive with heavy hitters like the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson.

It will be very interesting to see how efficient the new e-Power generation is. And if it is really worth it. However, being the standard powertrain for a least the first year could make it quite competitive.

More on the new Rogue very soon…

  1. Nice. Hopefully this will knock the cheap a** Rav4 down a bit. I don’t understand why people buy RAV4s when every competitor looks better, drives better, is quieter, has a nicer interior.

  2. To say this car is hugely important to Nissan would be a vast understatement. The situation at Nissan is dire and this is the vehicle that will make or break them. If this is a successful vehicle, Nissan will have survived another death scare yet again. So far, I’m liking the exterior on this. It looks much nicer than the current model. They got rid of the stupid split headlight bug eyed look. It also appears to be slightly bigger than the current model as well. Would love to see what they did on the interior. If the e-power system lives up to its promise, Nissan might have a huge success here.

  3. Compare a Nissan interior to a RAV4 – no contest. Nissan interiors and especially their seats are so much better. I just hope they dont put those capacitive touch controls in it that have appeared in the Murano, Leaf and Sentra. Theyre not great.

  4. A gas powered EV. I think this was the bridge we needed. Interesting to see what other brands will do if this takes off.

  5. This is how you do a faceted/origami design. Not like some of the hideous Hyundai ones.
