Just a better picture.

  1. The layout and design looks very nice. I'd like to see if they used quality materials as well.

My only criticism would be the steering wheel. It looks a bit garish with the huge Buick logo.

  2. The interior bores me.

It has the SAME SHAPE IP as all other "new" GM vehicles.

There is nothing to differentiate what you are in, they are all the same.

  3. I agree with the poster at on the 12th at 11:45 AM.

All GM interiors are beginning to look the same. Like when Ford used the SAME gauge cluster in its vehicles with different overlay.

    Customers aren't stupid.

This isn't going to cut it.

  4. PEOPLE – a few points:

a: up until very recently, GM had the ugliest, lamest 80s interiors – now they are world class

b: do you not find ANY similarity between EVERY honda andaacura – as well as EVERY toyota?

youre all like my wife, youll always find something to complain about

  5. I am glad that this car didn't die here with Saturn. Buick can use a car in this class. I have seen the new Lacrosse and although the interior is nice, the exterior has weird proportions and doesn't come together for me. This is as nice or nicer than other cars in it's class. I am glad that Buick didn't just do a rebadged Malibu. I just wish that Buick could come up with some better names. Regal is dated and I associate Lacrosse with all of the old people who bought the last version of it.

  6. I have a feeling there is a single person posting all of these anonymous negative comments. This looks very good and reviews have been very complimentary regarding the design and material quality.

  7. This interior looks nice. It also looks almost exactly like its big brother: the 2010 Buick LaCrosse.

  8. This car looks fantastic, but it's many years too late. This should have been on the market five years ago.

GM just doesn't get it, hence their pathetic performance.

  9. I agree with Warren, Buick should change their names. It would be difficult enough to own a "Buick" to begin with, let alone a Regal. With that said however, this is a really fine looking car with a very nice interior. It is far better looking to my eyes than the TL, Camry, Accord, etc……

No, I don't really see a similarity in Honda's models. The Fit, Civic, Accord, CR-V, Pilot all have COMPLETELY DIFFERENT interiors.

Why? Because it is boring and repetitive. If you pay $40,000 for a Buick you don't want the SAME looking interior as a $14,000 Cruze.

  11. I agree with 9:36. I think this car is very very good looking. But I also think that the Buick name is so tarnished that it's going to be hard for Buick to be a real consideration for most buyers. I'm not saying that it's impossible, I just hope that GM sticks it out long enough for minds to be changed. With cars like this and the Lacrosse, I think they're headed in a very good direction. Because Buick is ranked so high in quality, it's not a rational choice to buy a Camry or Accord when this looks so good.

Also, they need to offer a sporty AWD version of this car to compete against the S4 or 335. Not that these cars would be cross-shopped. But it would be great for their image.

  12. he's right (assuming he's a he) Enclave and LaCrosse are getting a majority of their sales from former import owners.

I guess that anonymus person is you.

  14. A great looking interior. This is the European Insignia carried forward. The Astra, and from the looks of it, will be here, has the same upgrade type of styling. GM has gone from having the worst interiors in the business to some of the most innovative and classy. If all that can be complained about is the sameness of design, that is a far cry from crappy, low budget plastic so-ran interiors of the past.

  15. I don't like it.

Looks like any other GM vehicle from the drivers seat as others have said.

Bring us the OPC and I might change my mind.

  16. i dont understand – have you haters actually SAT in any new GM vehcles? sit in and start up a CTS or a LaCrosse – THEN come back and share your opinion.

  17. Yes, I ACTUALLY SAT IN THE NEW LaCROSSE. It's not bad. better then I thought it would be. But the lousy Buick dealer won't give me even HALF of what I paid for on my 2-year old Acura — SO TO HECK WITH BUICK!!!

  18. "But the lousy Buick dealer won't give me even HALF of what I paid for on my 2-year old Acura — SO TO HECK WITH BUICK!!!"

Not surprising! It's because they know how feeble Acura transmissions are.

    😉

Acura/Honda transmissions have been bulletproof for quite some time.

There was a flaw in the 5ATs in CLs and TLs from 2002-2003 which was taken care of.

If this guy's Acura is only two years old he is golden. The dealer was just trying to rip him off.

  20. "If this guy's Acura is only two years old he is golden. The dealer was just trying to rip him off."

I could be wrong, but I think he was joking about hating on Buick because his Acura didn't hold it's value. That would make no sense.

  21. They really need to stop using the same steering wheel in every GM vehicle. Platform engineering is supposed to be about the parts you don't see, not the ones you do.

I think you mean the post above with the Chery QQ douchbag.

  23. Historically I've had 2 problems with Ford and GM. 1) Their products and 2) Their dealers.

Subsequently, their products are fantastic. Honestly – great products. I can't beleive that I reco to friends the CTS, Camaro, Equinox, Edge, Escape, Fusion – and worst of all, Taurus!?!

That still leaves problem 2 though. The dealers ARE still garbage. On my reco, a guy went to buy an Escape – and left b/c the dealer was a complete cocky ass. Meaning, you give them a hint of success and they act like their Ron Jeremy. The dealer offering squat for the Acura is a prime example of this.

I honestly think that when I retire, I'm going to start selling cars – as apparently, I am one of few that realize consumers want to be treated w/ respect.
