Looks like the cute little HR-V will be getting a new face soon.
Not sure about anything else…
Usually, there aren’t big news on mid-cycle refresh from Honda. So don’t expect more power or anything like that.
It sure would be nice to get that panoramic sunroof option other markets have been getting for years…
Expect Honda Sensing, updated infotainment with Apple CarPlay, Android for auto, new aluminum wheels, new exterior colors, revised tail lights and bumpers. I’m hoping that Honda replaces the 1.8 liter 4 with either the 2.0 liter or 1.5 liter turbo from the Civic.
Honda went with the bottom of the barrel model for North America; the same as Toyota did with their CH-R model. If they want to go up level; they just add in the higher trim models including engines.
Are you sure that isn’t the Vezal that is currently on sale.
That new front end is butt ugly.
Unfortunately, the HRV has not fared as well as Honda may have expected.
Crash test are below average, ride is excessively bouncy, and resale value has been lower than midsize SUVs.
Hrv has also been noted to have the worst headlights in the compact SUV market. This is why I went with the Mazda CX 3….very happy with it
