There seems to be a new Lincoln Nautilus on its way. At least in China…
The Nautilus is basically Lincoln’s version of the Ford Edge. It started life as the second-generation Lincoln MKX (remember these stupid names?) back in 2015. It got the new name and a facelift in 2019. So basically yes, it would be time for a new one…
Lincoln sold around 24 500 of them last year in the US. And around 28 000 in China. Which compared pretty poorly with the 115 000 units of the Lexus RX sold last year in the US alone.
I’m not really sure we’ll see the new Nautilus here. Lincoln is finally getting a new electric SUV ready. Maybe for 2024 (like everything else it seems). Which could effectively replace the Nautilus. It seems selling at least 24 000 of the new EV wouldn’t be that hard.
As for the Edge, who knows? There seems to be no news about a next-generation either…
a nice improvement over the current design. The proportions of the new vehicle are different, it seems bigger, look at tha D pillar and the size of the rear window
I do like that new front end, they should make the horizontal bar light up side-to-side incl the center Lincoln logo.. just like the full width tail lights. Agree with Vince that Lincoln needs a PHEV and/or full Electric in US
