These are illustrations of an upcoming Dong Feng Electric pickup truck for the Chinese market.
Dong Feng Motor Corporation was created back in 1969 and is actually still a state-owned Chinese car manufacturer. It is a big player with 2.1 million vehicles manufactured in 2021. Besides their own models, they also build cars for Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, and Honda.
But also, Kia, from 2003 to 2021. Which could explain the obvious Kia-inspired design. I wonder how happy their old partner will be when the new truck comes out, since it looks a lot like a modern Kia product…
