Tesla Model Y.

Last Updated:

The 2 illustrations above are trying to guess what the revised Tesla Model Y for 2025 will look like.

And it seems they both agree on a front light bar. Something very similar to the Cybertruck and the CyberCab prototype. I think it would work well on the Model Y. While still looking a bit different from the revised Model 3.

Before the 2024 revision, the Model 3 and Model Y had basically the same front-end design. It seems Tesla might want to differentiate both models a bit more for next year which isn’t a bad idea.

We have been seeing more and more spy shots of the revised Model Y lately. While it is still a few months away. Meanwhile, we’ve seen nothing about these mysterious new cheaper models Elon Musk has been talking about in the past months. New models that are supposed to use parts from the current platform as well as the next one. Originally designed for the future $25,000. The car Musk now calls “Silly”.

This is probably more BS from crazy PT Musk and these cheaper models could end up being decontended versions of the Model 3 and Y. If all-new designs were coming in early 2025, we would have seen something by now.

We’ll see…

  1. This looks just like the new Chevrolet Equinox EV!

You should do a test of that vehicle in AWD guise. It’s surprisingly great. Definitely better than the Tesla Model 3, in my opinion. It’s also cheaper.
