2026 Honda Accord.

It looks like Honda is getting ready to show us a bit of a refresh on the Accord sedan sometime next year.
The top photo shows the Chinese market Accord model for next year. However, both the Chinese market Accord and the North American model look the same.
I personally don’t see any improvement in the new front-end design just like Honda did with the 2025 Civic. Change for the sake of change, and it’s even busier than before. At least the current Accord’s front end looks really clean. This actually looks like a bit of a mess.
I really hope Honda improves the Accord driving dynamic a bit for 2026. As it is, it doesn’t drive as well as the preview generation, which is really too bad. They even made the steering wheel rim a bit thinner, which just doesn’t feel as good as before. I also think that by next year they should be ready to make the Accord a Hybrid-only model. Just like the Camry.
It sold around 197,000 units in its first year on the market. Which is still a good number for a mainstream sedan these days. Although that is far less than the Camry with over 290,000 units sold last year.
While redesigning the Civic’s front end for 2025, Honda took out a few items like rear USB plugs and didn’t really add anything. The Civic still lacks adjustable lumbar support or even passenger seat height adjustment. Let’s hope they don’t take stuff away from the Accord.
No word yet on what else will be revised for the 2026 Accord. Or even when we will see the North American version…
