These are new live photos of the new redesigned Hyundai Palisade SUV for 2026.

And yes, we’ve all seen the official photos from Hyundai. But these do show quite a bit more.

I think Hyundai did a great job incorporating the widescreen into the dashboard design. Unlike all their current models where that wide double screen just sits there, on top of the dash. Even in recently updated Genesis models. This bodes well for future Hyundai models.

The rest of the new Palisade interior is really modern and quite a step up from the already nice interior of the current generation.

The new Palisade seems to be around the corner in the US. We will be getting the all-new Hybrid option. Which produces 330HP using a 2.5 Liter Turbo engine and an electric motor. However, the base engine is no longer a smooth V6, but a non-hybrid version of the 2.5-liter turbo with 277HP. At least in its home market. We don’t know yet if the base engine will come to the US or if Hyundai decides to make the Hybrid powertrain standard. Which I think would be a great idea.

Prices for the new model have risen by about $3000 in Korea. Which could translate to a starting price in the US of around $40,000 instead of the current $36,800. Which would still be quite a good deal.

The new Palisade is also longer by about 2.5 inches, with a wheelbase also longer by about 3 inches. The new generation is based on an updated version of the current platform.

It is really too bad about the V6. It seems Honda and Mazda will eventually be the last ones to use the smooth and creamy 6-cylinder engine in their larger models.
