Honda Passport review video.
I had the chance to review the new Honda Passport a little while ago. And this is a very short video showing some of my experience.
I have been a fan of the Honda Passport for a while. However, the previous generation was looking really old, and a new generation was really needed. I really like the new design and don’t even mind the new off-road look. Even if that’s something I would personally never use, since I do enjoy driving on paved roads.
The interior is also a huge improvement; however, it is basically the same as the 3-year-old Honda Pilot. Minus a 3rd row of seats.
Unfortunately, the driving experience isn’t the best. The steering is way too light and not precise at all. It is actually more reminiscent of a 1976 Ford wagon than a modern Honda. The new passport is also about as wide as a Chevrolet Tahoe. Which makes it quite w chiore to drive around town.
Another retro feature is the gas mileage, which is really not acceptable for a 2025 model. 14/15MPG observed around town driving like an old lady is really bad. And 23MPG on the freeway isn’t much better.
However, what you get for that price is one of the smoothest and most refined powertrains in the business.
A tough choice indeed…
