2027 Toyota Corolla Illustrations.
Last Updated:

These illustrations above were all previously posted on the site. Trying to guess what the next-generation Toyota Corolla could look like.
Most of these seem logical evolutions from the current and past generations. Even if a couple seems a bit more “out there” and tries to push the envelope. Something Toyota is not really known for.
However, Toyota has also been known for some surprises once in a while. The most recent example is the current Prius. A design that has nothing to do with its predecessor, thank God.
From what we have seen so far, it seems the next-generation Corolla will follow the same path. Something that is really completely new. It also seems like Toyota might be ready to offer an EV version of the new sedan.
New ICE engines will probably be used for the HZybrid versions. And the North American market might offer a standard hybrid powertrain, just like the Camry and 2026 RAV4. With a PHEV or even EV model as an option.
It seems Toyota has figured out how to offer Hybrid and EV versions using the same platform. Something they are doing with the new Lexus ES sedan.
The bottom image is the Corolla “Concept” that Toyota will show very soon. It should be a close preview of the production model due out sometime next year.
I don’t know why Toyota is taking so long. The redesign should have been a 2025 or 2026 M.Y. Once again, behind Honda.
In response to the comment above, yes, Toyota has taken a long time to refresh the Corolla. But, the current Civic is also ancient. Same with the Mazda 3, Miata, etc. A LOT of the Japanese models are long in the tooth.
