2027 Toyota RAV4 EV.

The all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 was introduced a while ago, and we should be seeing them around pretty soon. What isn’t out yet is an upcoming EV version of the new RAV4.
The illustration above shows what a new Toyota RAV4 EV could look like. However, the new EV will probably not have its own design and will just look like another 2026 RAV4. Apparently, the new EV is scheduled to be produced in Kentucky starting in 2027. The new 2026 generation is a hybrid-only SUV. With a PHEV option. The regular gas-based engine is gone.
It is quite a mystery how Toyota will actually market a RAV4 EV. And even, why? The new RAV4 is still a few inches shorter than the BZ EV. The revised BZ now starts at $36,350. Which is pretty much the same as a base RAV4 Hybrid. Toyota has also unveiled the all-new BZ Woodland. Which is basically a longer version of the new 2026 BZ. The BZ Woodland will be around 190 inches long, which is larger than the RAV4. That means a RAV4 EV would possibly fit between the BZ and BZ Woodland in size and price.
Still, that is quite a small space. They also have the new, smaller C-HR EV. All of a sudden, they will soon offer 4 EVs in the US. And that’s not even including the 2 brand new 3-row models coming next year.
Not bad for a company claiming to push their hybrid
