new VW ID.Polo Interior.

For some reason, VW is not ready to show us the final exterior design of the all-new ID. Polo EV. Although still covered in some jazzy camouflage, you can really tell what the final design will look like. Which will be very close to the VW ID.2all Concept from 2023.
However, the production interior shown above does look much better than what we had seen in the Concept. And closer to the interior of the ID.Cross concept interior. With softer lines and more flowing shapes.
It still has a version of that tablet screen stuck on the dashboard. Something next-generation Hyundai models are switching to as well. Which is a bit too bad.
At least, the VW adds some really cool touches. Like the available retro dials inspired by the first-generation Golf. And many buttons are back. On the center console as well as right under the screen. As well as on the steering wheel. Everything seems pretty easy to figure out. Just like in a Honda. With maybe even fewer menus to figure out, which is good news.
The new Polo EV will be available with 2 battery sizes. The larger provides a 250-mile range. Which would be a little above 200 miles EPA over here. Unfortunately, this really cool sub-$30,000 EV will not be sold in the US. Since VW still thinks Americans will only buy their largest models. Otherwise, something like this would have been competing against the new Nissan Leaf and Chevrolet Bolt over here.
At least, there is still a good chance of getting the production version of the slightly larger ID.Cross in the US.
