2027 Mercedes AMG GT Sedan interior: what a mess…

This is what happens when you try to cram the worst-looking trims and materials into an otherwise almost-decent interior. The new Mercedes GT Sedan is just a ghastly palace inside. A display of vulgarity rarely seen outside of a cheap Las Vegas horehouse.

If you can see through all the crap, the basic design is actually not that bad. And maybe a different trim model with different colors and finishes could look decent. But the combo shown in these official Mercedes photos is just horrible in my humble, unprofessional, and moronic opinion.

A medley of all these vulgar ideas in interior designs we have seen in the past few years. the quilted leather finish. The carbon fiber everywhere. The overdose of red ambient lighting, again, everywhere. Shiny stuff all over the place. It’s all there. A sad and terrible display of wannabe luxury. From a brand that should know better…

Of course, the specs are not subtle. Starting with over 1300HP. That’s right. With a top speed of 225 MPH. With, of course, a fake V8 sound included.

Basically, a car you can only really use on a track. And yet, it will probably be seen mostly in the streets of Beverly Hills or Monte Carlo. The exterior design of this new billionaire toy will closely match the concept we saw last year. Which actually looked really good.

As I mentioned before, different colors and trim might help a bit.

I am not sure how many of these Mercedes expect to sell. The previous version was closely related to the Mercedes E-Class and CLS. The new one will not and will be an original design for AMG. And of course, an SUV will follow this….
