All-new Lincoln EV SUV on its Way.

Lincoln has been hard at work on an all-new electric SUV. One that is probably based on Ford’s new Universal EV Platform. Just like the upcoming Fathom Pickup. However, the Lincoln SUV is scheduled for the Chinese market.

As we have seen recently, Ford will also have a version of the new EV SUV. With a different design. Which could or could not be called “Explorer EV”. Why not. The current Explorer EV sold in Europe is actually based on the VW ID.4 and not related to a Ford product. The one in the images above already seems much larger. The Lincoln version could replace the Aviator.

The SUV pictured above is being developed with Ford’s Chinese partner. We have already heard of rumors mentioning 2 new SUVs being based on the Universal EV Platform, for Ford and Lincoln. The model pictured above seems almost ready to go.

It seems we won’t have to wait too long to see something official.
