Buick Enclave concept
Last Updated:
Just a few more pictures of the new Buick SUV.
From the spy pictures, it looks like the production will be exacty what we see here.
Just some details might change.
What a great looking interior. Maybe a little too much wood for my taste, but that’s just me.
If this doesn’t put Buick back on the map, nothing will…
Some trim details don’t fit in with the whole car of this like the front end.
$20 that douchebag says that Buick is god.
Better keep your hopes up,Buick might be the next Oldsmobile.
Looks like GM finally got the message about interior quality. I just hope its not too little too late. I would be more impressed when they put a descent interior in the cavalier and ion.
The front end seems alittle chubby, has anyone else noticed that the glass area of headlights is getting bigger and the actual bulbs are getting smaller on lots of cars ? we dont need 2 square feet of glass for projector beams..
it looks alot nicer than the cadillac srx, especially the interior which is crazy because im sure this thing will be less than the srx, and if not cadillac is the mor expensive brand why make the buick nicer than the cadillac. but again the srx interior is horrible anything has a nicer interior
Vince can you tell us where you found these new photos? I’d like to try and get hi-res version of them to check out the dash a little better since its turned on. Thx

I really dig the new Buick. The LaCross and Lucerne were steps in the right direction but they were still just a bit off IMO.
The Enclave is a friggin home run. Just the setup Buick needs before they completely WOW us with the Velte.
As I said before, the Enclave is now at the top of my list to replace my Murano. I can’t believe I’m planning to buy an F’ing BUICK!

Well, I don’t know if ANYTHING has a nicer interior. I mean, you’ve seen the Aztek, right? 🙂
But you are dead on that this Buick is much nicer. Heck, thats actually to conservative of a statement. The Buick is VASTLY better than the SRX.
Woods in many interior parts cry “fake”. And even if it’s real wood, it’s too much to be called tasteful.
Seen the “woody” interior of a SsangYong Rexton a few year ago, and it looks just like this Enclave’s: tacky.
As for the exterior, it just looks great. Much more, considering it’s a Buick.

I like it. Side flares are a tad Mazda3-esque.
Wood should be an option though, maybe just have plain silver accents instead.
I can send Hi rez pictures if you Email me.
the last nail in lexus’s coffin
yeah but the aztek cost over ten thousand less than the srx, and really was the quality that much worse…….all plastic except the seats, and few pieces of cheap looking wood. all plastic door panels look horrible
Hey Douchebag Jones…
Nothing you will ever say or do will matter to anyone. Go away.
.
Very nice. Chrysler Pacifica finally has a legitimate competitor.
This is outstanding. Outclsses the lexus SUV. You know that tippy looking lexus with big overhangs, YUK! I shudder just thinking of it. It’s called the RX something, hey good name, It could use an RX!
You’re right, Lexus and acura are obviuosly trying to appeal to Doctors. What a blatant effort,no class. “RX” as in perscription and “MD”X as in Medical Doctor. Work harder on the quality than the name please. Honda has terrbly shifting transmissions, and Toyota is the sludge king , Oh sorry, I forgot, they’re trying to hide that!
I agree with most of your comments. This Enclave bends the RX over, and rapes it. It’s beautiful, both in and out. The exterior is perfect. The interior is incredible, and the use of alot of wood (which is real, BTW), doesn’t bother me in the least. From what I understand, this thing really is like, 98% production ready. I’m with sgt beavis, this is number one one my list for my SUV. Buick has to completely fumble the ball for me not to get this.
This is a very nice crossover, but saying Lexus can’t compete with it displays pure ignorance. Lexus is the best selling luxury brand for a reason. Their cars have reached a level of build quality, refinement and dealer service that its competetors really can’t touch. Think about it, when someone asks you what you drive, would you rather it be a Buick or a Lexus. The Lexus name carries more than Buick ever will. In addition, walk into a Buick/Pontiac/GMC dealership and then go into a Lexus dealership. The difference is imeasureable. This is why Buick is going to have an extremely difficult time becoming the “American Lexus”
do you like engine sludge?????
When I saw this from the coverage at the Chicago show I knew this would be my wife’s next car. She wants something with three rows and I wasn’t something that looks nice and this fits the bill perfectly. These shots look the same that is currently on the Buick site for the concept. Are there any actual spy shots of pre-production models?
Face it, both Toyota (Lexus) and GM (Cadillac, Buick) have their problems with recalls, and denying that is just plain ignorance…especially from people who insinuiate that they are car fans, yet can’t remember that the RX is the RX330 – soon to be RX350. This competes more with the GX470. The RX is a 5-passenger entry luxury SUV while the Enclave is a 7-passenger mid-to-full-size luxury SUV. They’re 2 different sizes!
Don’t buy your wife a GM you dumb c&^%$, Buy her a nissan Murano. If you take a test drive you won’t be able to resist. The test drive is FREE, DO IT!Unless she’s your EX-wife, then but her a GM.
What the hell does your wife need 3 rows for. she can’t have ’em. Who’s she picking up in that thing, a whole team to tag her!
I really like this vehicle but the main problem with it is that it’s a Buick. First of all I don’t know if anyone knows this fact but Buick is a weak brand and should be quietly euthanized.
Instead this should go over to Pontiac or Caddillac. GM is doing to Buick what it did to “olds-foggie-mobile” instead of killing this brand off it’s squandering what coin it has left on an oldie stale washed-up has-been brand like Buick.
Lexus will eat this thing alive not because it can’t compete but because the market preceives Buick as a side helping of “olds-mobile” with a little chevy in the middle. GM either refuses to learn or stupidly won’t ditch dying brands until there are only cobwebs left instead of customer.
What a waste!

plowing, looks like a buried snow plow
Already have an 03 Murano fool and it is great, Stick two car seats in it and and oh gee it only hauls the two kids and the parents. Sometimes someone else might like to go along for the ride and damned if I’m getting a mini-van or suburban.
very nice interior. the exterior is beautiful too. i like it.
Ever hear of the aztek?, that’s what is underneath this lump
The Corolla may be under the Pontiac Vibe, too– but one I love and the other is nausiatingly B O R I N G !
ARE YOU SERIOUS? YOU SAID: Woods in many interior parts cry “fake”. And even if it’s real wood, it’s too much to be called tasteful.
Seen the “woody” interior of a SsangYong Rexton a few year ago, and it looks just like this Enclave’s: tacky.
I SUPPOSE YOU WOULDN’T APPROVE OF THE $350,000 ROLLS-ROYCE Phantom, either (which people are lineing up on waiting lists for the oppertunity to be surrounded by it’s abundance of WOOD!
It costs only 2/3 of what a comparable Lexus costs; T H I S is why Buick is going to have an extremely difficult time becoming the “American Lexus”… Cadillac, on the other hand…
Gm vehicles are going to be extinct, like the last dinosaurs
