2007 Cadillac CTS

Last Updated:

Here is an early picture of the CTS for 2007.
As you can see, only the wheels and the grille are new. And that’s pretty much it.
What this car needs is a new interior, not new wheels…

The big news are for 2008 with an all new car.

  1. i totally agree that this car needs a new interior(it looks good but feels horrible), but why would they spend the money on a whole new interior for a car that will be replaced in a year??????comeon vince lets use some logic.

  2. They should have done it years ago, I agree.
But why even bother spending money into it in its last year!

  3. ok now vince now we are back on the same accord that is a statement i totally agree with, with so many good examples of interiors at the time cts was introduced, there was no excuse for the cts to have an interior like it did, the same goes for inifiniti and the g35 when it was introduced, but at least nissan “tried” to fix the poor quality complaints, cadillac didnt even try at all to fix concerns.

  4. Vince,

This is the same car that has been out for months now. Look up on past issues of Car and Driver (or is it Automobile Mag?) and they have a red version of this car with these wheels in a comparason test. There is nothing “brand new” about this car. This is the top of the line model for the CTS.

when you see a high res pic, you’ll notice the wheel caps have a colored “wreath and crest” instead of silver.

    this is a MY07 change.

cadillac simply made the sport package exterior featurs standard

  6. I can’t wait to see the next gen CTS. I’m sure many of you have seen the pics from the 60 minutes interview of Bob Lutz where he pulled back the covers and showed the front of the next gen CTS. He also showed a mockup of the interior. Totally stunning! Of course, last week Edmunds showed off new spy pics of the CTS which closely follow what Lutz showed on TV.

I’ve said before that I’m planning to buy a Buick Enclave, but that new CTS is going to make me thing REALLY HARD.
