ughh that car is so repulsive… we should boycott that car
wow. what a disappointment. the toughest market segment in the industry and 6 model years to get it right and THIS is what they’ve come up with? for shame! someone should lose their job over this!
why are they using a design from an unsuccessful car(crossfire)?
just when you think they are improving, the come up with this crap… how can consumers and car enthusiast build confidence in this company?
So much waiting, so many spyshots and then that ???
Well, renatl companies might buy some
Aside from the rather odd C-pillar treatment, the Sebring isn’t a bad looking car. I like the front end and hood treatment. It’s just not the second coming of the 300. Not by a long shot. But given the dearth of look-at-me, in-your-face designs in this segment, the Sebring fits right in.
This look like a mismatch of many styles. And it looks as cheap as the new caliber (sharing pretty much the same base). TOO BAD.
P.S. A mini Dodge Charger would have been cool… with an SRT version equipped with an optional 3.5 V6 doing about 280hp…and AWD. THAT would have stenghten the image of chrysler.
They based the design on the Airflite Concept.
It does look interesting but it does look a little upright and a little ugly-like looking.
What, it has a good personality, a sense of humor, and is a good dancer?
Let’s hope so.
The taillights should just stop at the trunk opening. The front has too much going on. What’s up with that ugly front corner lamp just tacked on as if the designers said, “eeny meeny miney mo…yeah, right there?”
From the looks of current Chryler interior materials, this does’t bode well for the Sebring.
This car had better dance, er, drive well.
Be yourself: I think once somebody gives a bad comment, all the other blog monkeys must follow. Why not be orginal and come up with your own thoughts and ideas. People should give this car a chance and see it in person. The 7 series was odd, but people got use to it.
Ugliest car I’ve seen in a long time.
Fusion, Camry, Accord, new Altima are light years ahead.
They must really miss Lutz over at Chrysler.
I think this car will make a nice rental car. I’m sure chrysler will sell a lot of those to the rental car companies.
this picture looks better, than the other two, but still not good, chrysler made a concept a few years back called the airflite, and this sebring looks exactly like it except the hatchback the concept looks a little better than this though but not great kinda like the lincoln zephyr concept into production, except the zephyr doesnt look this bad

People can’t express their own honest opinions? You sound like a Bush voter.
Why not be orginal and come up with your own thoughts and ideas.
Um, why can’t you accept our personal thougths and ideas as original? Unfortunately for you (and Chrysler), several of us agree that this design is lacking.
People should give this car a chance and see it in person.
Good point, and I will. But the ugly car in the only pictures available so far are still ugly cars. If you like the new Sebring, I welcome your joy. I may not understand it, but I welcome it.
The 7 series was odd, but people got use to it.
I can’t speak for everyone like you do, but I never liked the 7-series.
So, for the sake of conversation, why do you like the new Sebring? Your thoughts and ideas are more than valid.
Well, I don’t think anyone has ever been accused of copying other’s opinions on this site. Get real.
If anything, they express them strongly.
My two cents? Quite an ugly car for Chrysler. Wow. What a shame.
This is not good. Don’t like it one bit. I do not care if it hit(s) 0-60 in 6 seconds, and got 35 MPG. I would not want to look at something like this for 4-6 years, in my driveway.

Yes, I voted for Bush and you’re probably one of those liberal queer muffin-AFLCU supporters who is too afraid to stand on your own ground and bashes anyone who is not trendy like yourself. I guess you are also for Spanish speaking country with a bunch of Asian Indians populating the entire eastern sea board.
When 300C belongs to nightclubs, this one can go straight to landfills ….
Why cant anyone appreciate anything? I think the guy “Be yourself” is right about having your own say. It does seem like there is a sense of peer presure with these blogs if you go against the tied. But his other politcal stuff should be on a differnt blog, perhaps.
Why can’t they just build a car that has no signs of Caliber, or 300 ,or Crossfire in it; and try to make it different looking, more original.
The clowns at Chrysler need to fold up the tent. The game is over–Asia Won!!!

You’re not even interesting enough to be boring, but you forgot to say specifically why you think the Sebring is attractive.
C’mon, stop channeling Ann Coulter and tell us monkeys.
There is no doubt this car is a Chrysler, and maybe that’s the point; brand identity. But it could be argued that it’s been at the expense of good taste. And a little tidbit for the liberal/conservative spat:https://publicsearch.people.virginia.edu/
This car will probably sell like gangbusters to rental companies and to so many Americans who don’t know or care about good design. They’ll get a decent car that will perform well for their needs, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with that.Anonymous said…Yes, I voted for BushThat’s the problem with our nation and this world.
