It looks like Lexus might drop the future 5.0 Liter V8 in the sedan version of the IS as well as the upcoming coupe.

Another soulless driving appliance from Toyota. Yawn.
The entry lux segment is going to become very interesting in a few years.
This proposed car will be competing head-on with the likes of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and the next Caddy CTS-V which is also rumoured to be getting 500hpr and will be out by 2008. It’s unfortunate that it’s so boring to look at. In this segment, looks are everything. If Lexus wants to be taken seriously, the designers are going to have to show a little more of their artistic side.
I want one.

look at the bigger picture, the total package, the looks sure aren’t excitingly hot stuff, but there nice unoffensive clean handsome lines and curves, reliability and safety and execution of interiors, so give it a rest will ya’, haha, their progressively stepping in the speed and performance arena, so beware
What is so sexy about this car?
All I see is an IS350 that is injected with some steroid, nothing more. I would ratter save my final judgements when I see the real thing, but for some one to say “That is one sexy car” must be new to automobile.
At first glance, this looks a bit like a stretched Mazda 3. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, Toyota had to copy “excitement” from somebody.
And I disagree about Toyota vehicles being soulless. They have souls, they’re just twisted. 🙂
