This is indeed the same S-Type rendering/illustration; also from AutoWeek.
Vince, all 3 Jaguar S Type (this one included) are the same vehicle, the new S Type…the caveat is that this last one you posted is a variant of the S Type to compete with the CLS and upcoming Audi A7 and whatever BMW will come up with. The S Type and its “4dr cpe” variant will share the same sheet metal from the rear doors up.
Kinda boring. And what’s up with that trunk? It’ll have an opening the size of a mail slot.
