And the field of $100 000 sports car will get even more crowded next year with the Ferrari Dino…

  1. Very nice inside and out. Purpose built sports car. An example of form following function. Still, to me it does not have the design or character of a sports car that will become a timeless classic. To me, it is more late 80’s concept sport car come to life. Remember the Buick Wildcat concept.

  2. alot of comments are not published, i think vince is getting sft. this site was more fun before. i guess when you get more successful you can be picky. unfortunately, you may alienate the people thet got you here!

  3. This car is stunning, but it would look better without that gray side panel between the door and back fender. Of course if I had enough money to buy one of these beauties, I could afford to paint it as I like it.

Still, I’d take it as is and grin from ear to ear with every mile.

  4. “A lot of comments are not published”
That’s because “a lot of comments” are offensive, racist and many of them have nothing to do with the site. Just people insulting each others.
If you need to hate someone, get their Email and to it privately.
    This site if about cars.
The “people who got me there” aren’t the racists and weirdos who keep posting insulting messages I need to delete every single day.

It’s Vince’s site. He’s free to keep it anyway he chooses. Personally, I approve of the changes. Douchebag is not missed.

More importantly, this new Audi is hot! Sure, as a passenger I’d like the Maybach, but as a driver, this thing gets me hard.

  6. If I had a 100k burning a hole in my pocket and had to spend it on a car, I doubt I’d be visiting an Audi dealership to spend it.

That’s why there are different options for your 100k. The Audi R8 is just a new one. And a good one, too.

  8. i think this is a good looking car and all, very nice inside and out. but why is this car so slow? its fast as the audi rs4 with the same engine…., that means the new m3 will out run this car, that means the corvetter(base and zo6) will out run this car, a chrysler 300 srt8 full size sedan with about the same horsepower is only 2-3 tenths of a second slower, and a 400 hp midsized cadillac cts is just as fast. this doesnt make sense to me the list goes on and on, but a car that costs this much and is a mid engined lamborghini based under 170 inch 2 seat sports car should have the 0-60 to back up those credentials not just the price tag and looks

  9. Amazing car, looks amazing from any angle, love the side panel that you can get in different colors, the only bad part of the car, and it’s not Audi’s fault is the ….. stupid license plate !!! what a way to mar a beautiful car!!

  10. think this is a good looking car and all, very nice inside and out. but why is this car so slow?

This car is slow for an few reasons. the first is that as audi is building of same platform as the gallardo, they had to make sure that the distinction in performance was still there between the two. Id say this car is most likely detuned and a little ECU tinkering could free up a few more ponmies. But also this car is not just a straight line car. With 4wd and the low stance itd massacre an m3 round the bends whilst delivering a more comfortable experience…this of course is just my OPINION as entitled. Also id have to say id take this to a 911 as it offers more exclusivity and it looks more than “just a coupe”

  11. This car looks great, but in the price range, I doubt many would choose it over its competitors. Plus in many ratings and minds (including my own), Audi/VW have terrible quality.
