I wonder how this will do against the new Malibu.
And I think it is time Chrysler learns to provide the press with other than the grey interior pictures if they want to make a better first impression…

Vince,
Here is my review of this car…
(+/-) good value for price
(+) engine options
(+)comfort
(+) optional package, plus optional AWD
(-/+) exterior
(-) molding on rear passenger windows (black c shape
graded plastic piece).
(-) rear tail lamps need improvement, perhaps LEDs.
Malibu
(+) interior design
(+) comfort
(-)engine
(+)exterior, but grill and tail lamps (+)
(+) value
(-) no awd and few options.
Not a huge fan of gray interior in general either, but I really like the two-tone effect they’ve got there. It’s about time all of them started doing more with interior color again. Enough of having your only choices be plain gray and tan.
This is actually really nice… and I haven’t been very fond of Chrysler products at all lately. The interior is nothing to write home about but the styling, if not the quality, is certainly on par with the tame Camry/Accord/Fusion/Sonata and new Malibu. It’s bulldog looks might not appeal to the same people who like the understated looks of the Malibu. But that’s fine. More good choices are a good thing.
I agree with you on the interior Vince.
It seems as if we’re looking at black and white pictures. I wonder how this dash would look in Black and cream.
All that is missing is Bozo to complete this Bozomobile!!! Chrysler deserves their failure.
I still think my previous Dodge Avenger was better looking…even tho it was a coupe.
It’s to stubby to pull off that aggressive rear end treatment.
I thought this car was decent in pictures, but I saw it at the North American Intl Auto Show in Detroit this past weekend, and it’s way nicer in person. It was getting a lot of good attention too. The interior was nice – good seating position, nice thick steering wheel. And thankfully, finally a car in this size class that doesn’t look like everything else on the road. Don’t worry Toyota-philes… you’ll still be able to go get your beige, hubcap-clad Camry. But now there’s something for the rest of us too!
Yes this is a car for the rednecks who still support Bush.
