  1. Another ugly interior from Ford, and a bad exterior design. Ford will continue to drop in sale…

  2. Damn! That’s nice looking. Classy, too. The steering wheel is so-so, but everything else looks great inside. Something about the gauge cluster reminds me of a Passat, but that isn’t a bad thing.

  3. I’m not sure what Ford is trying to convey with that unusual dashboard. Is it contemporary, or retro, or modern, or all three cobbled together somehow?

I think it’s the steering wheel. Try covering it up with your fingers and see how much better the dash design looks.

  6. My current vehicle has no wood, wood look alike, wood-lite, wanna be wood, “looks better than wood” and I just don’t miss it. Do most people need to see wood in their vehicles?

  7. The gauges look very Phaeton. Looks good. But I detest fake wood, even though just about every mainstream car does it unfortunately. Since automakers realize that many people have strong opinions about fake veneer, most offer aluminum options. The Aura, for example has one of the nicest interiors in its class, but also uses lame faux wood. Luckily, aluminum is a no cost option.

The interior of the Flex looks really good. I could see this being a hit for young buyers.

  8. Why couldn’t Ford have given the 500, er, Taurus this nice-looking dash and interior?

Ford gives Europe all the good stuff.
