The 1 series or 1er takes over where the 3 series dominated the market a few years ago since it went up stream. But at the same time this might hurt sales of the 3 series because it is more of a bang for the buck automobile. They should have just left a 4 in the engine, but the Germans love impressing American more then their fellow Europeans in most cases with power(despite that some Euro-Spec BMW are a hell of a lot quicker than what they sell here),
Wow, there’s a Huge blind spot with that top up, but I guess I can understand BMW not wanting to spend the bucks to develop a retractable hardtop for this one. I agree with the 1st poster about the Z4!

I have zero experience with the new diesels, but from what I’ve read, I’d consider the BMW diesel in this car if it were available. Maybe they’ll bring them over in the future…
