2008 Hummer H2 Interior

Last Updated:

I am not crazy about Hummers.
But I think their designs are great for what they are supposed to be. They remind grown boys about Tonka toys.

This new interior is such a huge improvement over the previous one. Pretty much in line with what GM has been doing recently.
I just wonder why the H2 had a new interior this year, and not the Corvette…

  1. I hate everything SUVs and particularly Hummers stand for, but this would be a nice looking interior for any truck. Toyota’s Tundra should have looked this nice. Good job GM.

  2. Actually, I beleieve that the corvette did have an interior refresh of sorts. In the reviews of the 2008 they all state that their is a new optional interior that is much nicer than the old base interior.

  3. I hate the H2 because I am small minded and believe the communists and their news media when they say CO2 causes global warming. I also don’t realize that CO2 makes plants green because I am lazy minded and did not study the hard sciences.

  4. The reason why GM put money into a brand new H2 interior and not the Corvette is because of declining sales of the SUV. GM can’t make enough Corvettes, so minimal interior updates are only required since it’s still a hot product. Also, GM is really looking to set up Hummer as a genuine Land Rover competitor and you can’t do that with a $10,000 car interior in a $50,000 luxury SUV. This looks much better now.

I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised by the C7 corvette and the next XLR, if this and the 08 CTS interiors give us any indication.

  5. Food also keeps people alive, too much food is killing people at record rates, heart attacks, highblood pressure, diabetes etc etc etc. Try another argument.

  6. And the more food that is consumed the bigger the vehicle they need, hence-the Hummer! Fat ass Americans! Next the American’s will sue the automakers because the SUV’s and “crossovers” are so big that they force these people to consume more food so that they can fit in they’re vehicles more snugly. (Remember when McDonalds was sued for making people fat?!) LOL

  7. …I am lazy minded and did not study the hard sciences.

    That is quite obvious.

    What exactly is the argument?

Whatever, this Hummer thing has a really nice interior design. Kudos to a few GM designers. Maybe this attention to style and detail will trickle down to every GM model.

Vince, do you have any other pictures of it to share?

  8. the argument was

communists think that CO2 is causing global warmning
CO2 however is used by planets
how then could CO2 be caussing global warming? I think that was the posters point

My point, too much of any good thing, for example food or for example CO2, could in the end be harmful

Back to hummers, just say no

  9. communists think that CO2 is causing global warmningCO2 however is used by planets [sic] how then could CO2 be caussing [sic] global warming? Thanks for clarifying. I enjoy good discussions here on Vince’s site.I’m guessing you mean plants and not planets, but what would the Earth’s atmosphere do with excess CO2 that plants couldn’t take in? This is such an interesting topic, and one that deserves more attention than available here. A good place to start is https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/sun/. They did an amazing job of simply detailing the topic so that even I could comprehend. The Hummer is (fairly or not) the poster boy for gross excess and wanton consumption.Back to hummers, just say noIt’s a deal, but will you still call scientists Communists? Back to the H2 design…Vince, do you know much about the designers Hummer uses? I couldn’t find much information or pictures about the new H2 interior or the teams that created it.
