I was very excited when I saw the concept. This is LAME, very LAME. The EVO was the only reason Mitsubishi has stayed afloat in America. I don’t this is going to help them out much.

Its a pic of the RS. Its supposed to be cheap because the majority of these cars will get aftermarket wheels, engine modifications etc. The RS also forms the basis for all the group N rally cars. A bunch of ignorant fools on here.
I think this one will be “300C” moment for Mitsubishi. Let’s hope Mitsubishi uses it better than DCX.
If you can’t afford a Porsche or GTR or M3 this or an STI will get the thrills you need.This looks more masculine then the grocery getter look of the new hatchback STI.
According to preliminary reports (i.e. motor trend), this evo is slower and sloppier than the one it replaces. I think this is gonna strike a blow to the loyal fans that’s been giving the Mitsu brand the little legitamcy it has. Another case of the marketing dept. trumping the engineers to the chagrin of enthusiasts. Get your head out of your ass Mitsu!

i want mitsubishi to succeed so much in the u.s., and i think the new evo is going to help out a lot, maybe get buyers interested in their other cars. the only potential drawback is that consumer reports thinks the interior is kind of cheap, but then again thats consumer reports…
