I might be wrong, but this looks like the Chinese version of our “regular” Lancer.
With a much more conservative front end and a cheesier interior.

I’m surprised the Chinese don’t just copy it instead.
I for one am thrilled THEY get the boring, cheesy version this time.. Mitsu really screwed the pooch when they slapped the blocky, chromey grille on the last-gen US model.
