Nice, small changes. I wonder if this will be enough to make this car a bit more popular in the US.

  1. Nice, small changes. I wonder if this will be enough to make this car a bit more popular in the US.

Nah. Too many Americans are still greedy, wasteful assholes that voted for Bush. They’ll never choose this more practical car over some gas hog Chevy Tahoe. Gotta carry the kids’ soccer team to Chuckie Cheese at a moment’s notice, ya know. Oh, and you just have to tow the ski boat to the lake once a month to impress the neighbors. And Bitsy has to drive her tank to the shopping mall every day because she thinks she’ll be safer. Gosh.

  2. I really like this ‘mini’van! I see so many of them around Honolulu and it seems to be the perfect get around vehicle for everyday families. It’s too bad that most Americans still think bigger is better. As far as I know, the only real competition for it is the Kia Rondo, but I see so few of those around. It would be nice to see Honda, Toyota and the other Japanese automakers bring something like this stateside.

  3. I think the current style looks better, sportier too. The new front bumper makes it more minivan-ish, not good. Instead, Mazda should have put the turbo 2.3 in there to give it a little more zip, market it as the sporty minivan.

  4. We see a good number of them here in Toronto. Yes, I think it needs a bigger engine option to boost its market presence.
