Saab 9-4X

Last Updated:

I guess this is the production model found on the Saab site. In Chile …
Of all places.

It also mentions 245hp from the 2.0 Liter engine. Not bad.
And 21 inch wheels!
If anyone can translate 10.6 Liter per 100km in the City and 15.9 hwy, we could even get an idea of the gas mileage…

It looks very nice. It might just be a good alternative to the “bigger and bigger” V6 engines out there right now…

  1. Are you sure those figures are right? The HWY is worse than the city! 10.6l/100km (city) = 22MPG and 15.9l/100km (HWY) = 15MPG.

  2. I guess you’re right. Probably the opposite…

    It’s not great anyway.
I mean, are you sure? 22/16 is actually horrible

  3. Vince, the pics you have shown are simply the 9-4X concept car.

If you take a look at worldcarfans.com you will see the pics of the “production” 9-4X they have on the chile saab site.

  4. “made in Mexico, no thanks.”Are you referring to the quality or the principle of manufacturing in Mexico vs. Sweden? Many decent cars are made in Mexico. VW Jetta, Dodge Ram, Saturn Vue. I don’t think folks in Detroit or Trollhattan any any more adept at assembling cars than Mexicans are. They do cost a lot more though.Vince, here is a nice calculator for converting Euro MPG into real MPGhttps://calculator-converter.com/l-100km-to-mpg.htm
