  1. perfection granted. to illustrate how much more advanced Nissan is over Toyota and Honda, look at this and the previuos Z and then compare that to the competitions lack of any entry to compete. Nissan is the King!

  2. Nice evolution of a winner. These are the cars that make the Porsche Boxster almost irrelevant. Howerver, I think that the Z is ready to be longer and wider.

  3. Didnt really much care for the 350, but I love this! Little bit more retro infused in this model. Good job Nissan! Honda and Nissan are the most boring car companies on the planet. I dont care how many cars they sell. They SUCK!

  4. Anon 6:24, I think you probably meant “Honda and Toyota,” yes?

I won’t argue that this is a great car. It is. But it is slightly too juvenile looking. From other pictures it appears that they fixed the interior from the 350.

  5. When I first saw spy shots of it, I thought, “my God, they’ve screwed up the headlights”

But I’m so happy to find that they haven’t screwed it up. The made a good sports car into a great one.

  6. yes my dear friend, toyota and honda do suck. they build cars sans emotion and conviction, they build cars to satisfy the masses of sheep ( you know who you are, safe players). Nissan dares to build the best quality ( altima # 1 in Consumer Reports)and ( wards 10 best engines 14 years in a row) and have personality….way to go shiro nakamura.

  7. i’m surprise that toyota/honda are simply standing back and letting nissan dominate all the business in this market. not just the Z, infiniti is pretty much making a cheaper/faster/better lexus SC, acura is still trying to pass off FWD 4-cylinder car with 5-spd auto as “sport-sedan” while infiniti’s “base-engine” is more powerful than than anything acura/honda has to offer.

  8. its simple, nissan has always stood for high quality/ high performance. Honda and toyota are mass marketing to the sheep to sell volumes. Nissan is starting to show that it takes a while, but having high standards puts them ahead!

  9. Hey true, great things take time….love the Nissans! Getting this for our weekend car and a cute cube for our daily driver.

Not a bad point with their models.
But if they put anymore renault influence in their designs, that will kill them.

  11. This Nissan actually looks OK…What went wrong?

There is no renault influence in this. Thats why it looks great.
    Unlike the versa, etc.
