Some new Renaults…

These might be sold as Saturn one day.
So let’s take a look.

I really like the style of the Laguna Coupe. Very nice.
How reliable are these cars?
the new Megane Coupe is a good looking compact car. Why not with the 250hp engine?!!
The strage thing about the Laguna is, that all details look great, but when you see it on the streets, all these nice details are blown away and the car itself just looks bland and badly proportioned.
I doubt that the Laguna will be sold in the US. It wasn´t constructed to be sold there and doesn´t sell in numbers, Renault had hoped for. I also read that Renault is thinking of fading out this model, without a major facelift or a a predescessor. Maybe that are just rumors…
I agree. These cars are gorgeous.
These look very good overall. However I think the interior plastic color treatments need more richness and contrast – at least in the Megane they look like Chrysler/Playskool gray crap.
I think to be successful the only question is whether Renault can price these competitive to Honda/Toyota products. Very few Americans are going to put a premium on the Renault name. If if the engine components are shared with common Nissan engines taht will also be a positive selling point and will certainly have me looking.

Unfortunately dont expect good reliability.

It is not “if”. Engines have been shared on Nissan and Renault for several years now (except for the 2.5l Nissan). All small engines come from Renault, the V6 gas comes from Nissan, the V6 diesel from Renault.
The megane looks good (the one with the guy running).
The very top video (cleo?) looks like a low rent nissan versa in 2-door
I was in France a couple of weeks ago and had a lot of time to take in all the different types of vehicles driven there. I happened to see the megane. I thought it was one of the most attractive cars I saw while in France.
that think of you of FRENCH CAR in the USA?
THESE MODELS COULD IT SELL IN US
