Mercedes E class convertible

Last Updated:

Nothing new, really. A straight convertible.
I must say, the new E class coupe is quite a good looking car in the flesh.
So this should be pretty attractive. As well as expensive…

  1. I agree. The E Class is really an attractive car in the "flesh." I had an AMG clk55 convertible to use during the summer of 2008. Before driving one, I never understood the appeal. But after having a little more benz experience, I could absolutely see buying one now.

  2. Vince: Have you seen the interesting aerodynamic detail at the top of the windshield? Supposedly it pops up and down like a rear deck spoiler depending on the vehicles speed. Not sure if it reduces drag, cabin noise, etc…

Maybe a new feature to be found on upcoming convertibles?

  3. I saw a new E550 coupe in person, and I agree, Vince. That vehicle is stunning. Very classy looking.

The E-Class looks ugly in 2D pictures.

In person it is completely different, trust me. I was one of the people who wasn't impressed in the least, but in person the vehicle is incredible.

  5. I hope it's truely an E-based (mid-sized/ Sebring-sized) convertable. They lost me as a customer when their biggest convetrtable under $80k was still a tiny C-based joke.

They lost you as a customer when they realized that you can't even spell, and likely couldn't even afford a base C Class.

GTFO. Get back in your Cavalier and shut up.
