2011 Mercedes C Class coupe

It seems weird that it took so long for the current C Class to come out as a coupe.
The C Class is due for a slight refresh (which could be just slightly different headlights and bumpers) this fall, and the coupe will incorporate the changes.
I guess they feel that they need something to go against the 3 series coupe and the A5.
Why not…
From what we're seeing here, there's nothing too 'special' going on here aesthetically, in fact, the greenhouse shares far too much in common with the (current US) Ford Focus Coupe.

^ Dav, my thoughts exactly. My first impression is Focus Coupe! Lucky for Merc the FC will only be around for one more year!
