2012/13 Jaguar XJ Coupe

Jaguar seems to be pretty busy lately.

Not only are they planning a small RWD sedan and coupe to compete with the 3 series.
But they are also working on a coupe version of the new XJ Sedan.

A good idea. The sedan already looks really good on the road. (Except for the stupid plasticky looking black rear pillars.)

let’s also hope they go back to regular dials for the dashboard. Instead of a cheezy LCD screen…

  1. AM I th eonly one who thinks the XJ looks TERRIBLE?!?!??!?! It has a decent front end, but from the B pillar back, just awful! The C pillar is gross, and the rear looks way too heavy. The back tires almost ride inside the wheel openings like an old buick roadmaster

  3. This car is cavernous, quiet interior and beautifully sculpted exterior feel like luxury. It is filled with performance, safety and technology features you won't believe come in a compact.

  4. its the front that is ugly as sin. That awful gap between grill/bumper and hood looks awful for a car like this. Reminds me of the first batch of chrysler 300's with that big gap.

  5. The Jag XJ isn't perfect by anymeans, but it is a beautiful car. I feel that the headlights look a little cheap, the C pillar is an absolute horror. Even I'm Europe where the whole greenhouse could be blacked out, why the chrome lining of the C pillar? Anyway might be cool to see it as a coupe. Maybe might be slightly better looking such as the CL is better looking then the S Class

  7. Someone that works in the same office park drives an XF, and that's possibly the most beautiful car on the road today. But the XJ is just an abomination. It's a Frankenstein car cobbled together from leftover parts of other cars.

    2. Find a better picture of the car and you will see the gap.

    1) I believe they mean the current generation 300's from 2005 on
    2) the 2011 XJ's horrendous gap. It is not present on this new model Vince Posted. I agree it was awful on the 2011.

  16. Most of you have probably not even seen one in real life.
    The XJ is sexiest car out there. It is hands above any other vehicle in its class. People with all these comments are probably those who cannot afford one.
    I have a supercharged version and you cannot believe the positive feedback the XJ gets on the open road.
