2014 Ford Transit Connect

Already a new one.
The current model arrived late in the US. And this new one is coming over late next year.
Looking really nice.

It seems the Connect has been quite popular in the US. Being seen as New York taxis or delivering cu cakes.
It is pretty much everywhere, and has no competition . Yet.

  1. It does look nice, and is a very common commercial van in NYC. It's a niche vehicle, but fills a real need. I'm curious to see what engine/transmission choices will be available. NYC is forcing taxi owners to use a much larger minivan, from Nissan, as the next taxi.

  2. I'll miss the purpose-first design of the current one, but this looks way more in tune with the current lineup, and I'm sure sales of the passenger version will skyrocket now that it looks like a modern Ford. Perhaps this is why they aren't offering a non-Hybrid C-Max in the US?
