Just picked up a friend at LAX a couple of days ago. And saw this, for the 1st time.
Rows and rows of EVs. Most of them charging up.
Something we will see everywhere in a few years.
It was just a great sight. And made me happy…
The sight of the Prius is depressing. It's the new malaise era of automotive design.
The Toyota Camry (the top selling car in its class) and the Prius V wagon were given poor ratings in the newest test, and were the worst mid-sized performers. The Hybrid Camry is expected to be similarily dangerous.

Shhh! You aren't supposed to talk about that part!
…and the spent nuke fuel rods…

They don't hate the Prius; they dislike what it symbolizes: the arrogant ignorance of the intellectual moron. At least that seems to be who's buying these. Certainly not a lot of "Car Guys" buying them. And a lot of car guys feel threatened by the fact that over-regulation and government market manipulation is ending the freedom of manufacturers to make cars for EVERY niche, and especially the elimination of those cars that spark the enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity of true "Car Guys"
