Mercedes A Class AMG

Which seems to be called A45.
The new A Class can be ordered with an AMG Pack. Which is not the real thing.
They are talking about 360hp from the 2.0 Liter turbo and a 7 speed DSG type auto.

Sounds pretty crazy. We should know more very soon.

  1. This is a textbook example of how NOT to design a small car.

    All the laughably excessive side sculpting and silly bulges so haphazardly strewn about this automotive abomination are just horrible.

    It matters not one iota how quick this THING might be, it's Absolutely Hideous!

    Those specs are amazing, it is a shame we get such a crappy assortment in the US.

    You've never left the United States once in your life, have you? Might want to look at BMWs, Mercedes' and Audi's product assortment overseas.

    Do you really think this AMG model is going to help Mercedes meet the CAFE rating?

    Come on man, do some research. You just proved your ignorance.

    Flown out of the US many a time.
    Daily driver is a BMW–and not one of the little ones.

    And yes, I think a 2 metre Hatch (Abarth, AMG, M, whatever) will look better to Big Brother's CAFE than my proper 6 metre sedan.
