Mercedes GLA Concept

This is the B Class based small SUV/Crossover we have been seeing testing around for a long time.
Even though they call it a concept, it really looks like the spy shots, and quite production ready.
Except for some crazy bits. Or interior trim.

I really like it. I think it looks much better than the A or B class.
We should see the real thing at the end of this year.

It will be a great complement to the all new CLA sedan.

  1. Mercedes' brutally blunt front end styling looks far more acceptable on something like this than it does on the woefully repugnant looking CLA or (what we've seen of the next C-Class).

    Then again, all those silly looking round air vents splattered about the interior still look ridiculous and jarring as does the after-thought looking media screen plopped on top of the dash.

  2. I don't know how it compares in size. But this appears to be an ample competitor to the RR Evoque. The GLK just doesn't cut it.

  5. Looks like the console extends to the back seat. I guess they're trying to compete with Mini, but that would be a deal breaker for me.

  8. Reminds me of the first Infinity FX I saw. Bulbous, cramped, impractical on road, useless (to the point of being dangerous) off-road. The answer to a question nobody was asking. Why would they make something so useless?

  9. I thought the round vents were a joke. That would keep me from buying this vehicle, it looks ridiculousness.

  10. I hope to never see another one with all the doors open at the same time ever again. It looks pretty good until that happens.
