Honda Vezel/Fit SUV
Last Updated:
These are pictures of the Japanese version called the Vezel. (one of the worst car name in the past 102 years)
Not sure what they will call it in the US. This is the long rumored small crossover/SUV based on the new Fit. And just like the hatchback and new sedan versions, it will be built in Mexico for the North American market.
It is powered by a 1.5 Liter engine with 131 HP and a CVT (at least in Japan).
These pictures are of the higher end Hybrid version. Which gets a total of 152HP. (Rated at 63MPG in Japan)
I think it actually looks pretty nice. Much better than the new Fit.
And the interior, at least on this high end model, seems better than the CRV. The back seat looks really roomy too.
Just like the Fit sedan might prove to be a threat to the Civic, I think this all new model will make life pretty tough for the CRV…
This is kind of a cool little wagon. It may be a threat to the Civic. But no carmaker has ever gone broke by offering too many good vehicles. Though frankly, the Civic isn't really all that stellar right now.
This Honda design reminds me of visual symptoms of Leprosy.
I vant a vezel.
Can I get a Vezel diesel?
This car could pose a threat to Prius sales if the mpg is competitive.
I wonder if this will make Chevy bring the Trax to the US. I really hope they change the name and fix that Acura rear end.

Nice but the seats material is UGLY! Welcome back to the 80's
This car could pose a threat to health of our eyes.
Wasn't the Insight also based on the Fit and had only so so mpg's? This thing is much bulkier so gas mileage might be worse based on the laws of physics.
Ok.
The ass-end of this thing is ugly. I like pretty much everything else I see, but the design of the rear half of the car is a deal-killer for me.
Why do I think this will be called CR-F for the US market? The Fit lineage is obvious.
